Brad Cursio


Brad Cursio owns and operates the Monterey Bay Golf Academy. He has 12+ years experience in the field including earning and maintaining his Class A Status as a PGA Golf Professional, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Fresno State, achieving coach status through The First Tee of Monterey County, and teaching golf for renowned California Golf Schools and Jeff  Symmonds Golf Schools.

In his current role as Director of Instruction for Pacific Grove Golf Links, he teaches group adult and junior golf classes, private instruction to all ages and demographics, writes “Down the Middle,” a golf column for local Monterey County periodical “Off 68,″ has a reoccurring role in local TV commercials and news spots promoting golf, tourism, and hospitality on the Monterey Peninsula. Brad also serves as a board member to the Monterey County Hospitality Association, an organization which advocates all facets of hospitality throughout Monterey County.

His specialty is operating the Monterey Bay Golf Academy, a well-rounded one to three day golf school which focuses on improving your skills in all aspects of the game: Chipping, pitching, putting, full swing, etiquette, and course management. Because of this fully loaded form of instruction, students are rewarded with a heightened improvement in their golf skills, the drills they need to grow as a student, and a memorable California golf experience shared with friends, family, and golfers alike.

Mission Statement


Our mission of the Monterey Bay Golf Academy is to provide students of all levels and ages with an exceptional learning experience aimed at lowering your scores, improving your ball flight, and gaining a firm understanding of how to enjoy the game of golf to your fullest potential. Our delivery of instruction guides the student through the “process” of making swing changes, taking the pressure off of them, resulting in realistic means of improvement.

Our beautiful award-winning practice facility offers a learning environment designed for serious practice, fun enjoyable learning, and game improving computer video analysis and training aids.
